Under NYC Department of Buildings rules, workers and supervisors whose SST card expired before May 3, 2026 cannot renew with the standard 8-Hour or 16-Hour refresher. Instead, additional hours are required to bring the training back up to date.

For workers whose 40-Hour SST Worker Card expired before May 3, 2026. Completing this course renews your Worker Card for another 5 years.
SST Supervisor Refresher — $610
For supervisors whose 62-Hour SST Supervisor Card expired before May 3, 2026. Completing this course renews your Supervisor Card for another 5 years.
