What is HAZWOPER 24-Hour Training?
HAZWOPER 24-Hour Training is designed for workers who may be exposed to hazardous substances while working at or near uncontrolled hazardous waste sites but are not directly involved in hazardous waste cleanup or remediation activities.
This training is commonly taken by supervisors, inspectors, engineers, project managers, and other personnel who require hazard awareness training under OSHA's HAZWOPER standard. The course covers site characterization, chemical hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE), air monitoring, decontamination procedures, emergency response, and other key safety topics needed to recognize hazards and work safely in hazardous waste environments.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion documenting their HAZWOPER 24-Hour training.
